The IBM Laboratory is established to provide tools for data analysis, modeling, and simulation of complex systems. The IBM Lab is equipped with PC stations with open access to the IBM SPSS software. Scientific research (mainly psychological experiments), data analysis and educational courses about IBM tools for students, graduate students, and researchers take place in this lab.

The IBM Lab also provides access to software compatible with IBM, such as Lotus, Rational, Tivoli, Web Sphere, Information Management, Business Analysis, Cloud Computing, Web Services, and others.
